The Named Gift  Program will assist the Shelter to address the final construction needs of the permanent shelter facility. The Board of Directors of the Green Hills Animal Shelter invites donors to invest in the area of the shelter that they find the most appealing. Areas can be named for any individual, business or organization or for someone a donor wishes to honor, recognize or memorialize. The Board is open to suggestions for donor preferences. Together, we will create a safe haven for homeless animals and a safer environment for companion animals and their owners in the Green Hills area.

The Following Areas in the Shelter are still available for "Adoption"

Dog Kennel Facility - contains 48 individual dog runs and will provide a clean, safe environment for the dogs in the shelter's care.

Adopt an individual dog run:  $1,000

Dog Dorms - will have four rooms with windows, each of which will house 4 to 8 dogs in a home environment, complete with beds and chairs.  This kind of communal environment encourages toilet training and socialization.  What a terrific way to prepare the dogs for coming home with you!

Adopt one of the four rooms in the Dog Dorm:  $2,000

Cat Kennel Facility - contains individual cat cages (complete with resting benches) in "banks" along the walls.  These cages are for cats that are new to the shelter or need extra time to get used to their surroundings.

Adopt the entire Cat Kennel facility:  $25,000

Adopt one bank of 9 Cat cages: $4,000

Cat Village - will have 4 rooms with windows, each of which will house 8 to 10 cats in an informal communal setting.  No cages, just beds, hiding places and litter boxes.  This will socialize the cats and prepare them for a home environment.

Adopt the entire Cat Village:  $8,000

Adopt one of the four rooms in the Cat Village:  $2,000

Training Area - will provide community space for dog obedience classes, agility classes, puppy classes and special events.

Adopt the Training Area: $8,000

Business Office/Receptionist Area - will be the first thing people see when they enter the Green Hills Animal Shelter.  The central location to visit, ask questions, sign up for a class or adopt an animal.

Adopt the Business Office/Reception Area:  $8,000

Get Aquainted Rooms - will provide a quiet place for people and their potential pets to spend some quality time together, away from the distractions of the animal shelter.

Adopt one of the two Get Aquainted Rooms:  $3,000

Skylights - throughout the building to increase the quality of living (by providing natural light) for animals and people.  Skylights will also reduce the shelter's electric bills.  Bring some light into our lives!
